Dr. C., Wiltshire

The alleged offence took place on Tuesday the 11th of February 2003 in Wiltshire, and here is a short summary of the case:

• The motorist was accused of driving at 86 mph in a 60 mph limit.

• The alleged offence was recorded using an LTi 20/20 Lastec system.

• The defendant asked us to provide our expert opinion.

• We explained that full disclosure of the traffic video was required, before we would be able to offer our considered opinion.

• Rather than disclosing the traffic video, the CPS dropped the case.
