Carbon Emission Offsets

While we all know that driving has negative environmental effects, for many of us there’s really no practical alternative. A carbon offset helps to reduce the possible climate change impact of your motoring by offsetting the emissions produced, leaving you free to enjoy your motoring without the concern that you’re adding to the planet's CO₂ burden. With a carbon offset scheme such as this you're paying for the offset, not the trees or land; you don't acquire any responsibilities (such as for planting or maintenance) nor any rights (such as ownership or visiting).

Thanks to one of our members who's generously offered to dedicate an area of new woodland, we’re able to offer you the opportunity to offset your carbon emissions by dedicating an area of new planting sufficient to lock up an amount of CO₂ equivalent to your annual emissions. For every tonne of CO₂ you choose to offset, we’ll dedicate 11 trees.

An exceptional feature of this offer is the quality of the planting that backs your offset, setting it apart from many other offset schemes that use low-cost-cost third world planting. This is new mixed woodland planted in England using only native species, and comprising 30% English oak and 25% Hornbeam. The planting density is 650 trees/acre, leaving plenty of room for the trees to mature.

You can purchase sufficient offset to cover just one vehicle, or your entire household carbon footprint. Use our calculator to see how many trees would be needed to compensate for your emissions. You’ll receive a personal certificate to verify your offset and, for orders of 40 offset credits or more, one of these special window stickers, individually printed to include your offset.

All proceeds from sale of these offsets will go straight to PePiPoo to support our work, and in particular the 'Fighting Fund' that enables us to fund key legal actions.

Pricing and Ordering

When you've placed your order please send an e-mail to us so that we can complete your certificate, including:

• Your PayPal address, Nochex address or postal address (depending on how you paid)
• The name you want to appear on the certificate

Please note that the minimum order quantity is 10, to make it practical for us to supply a certificate with every purchase.

Your Right to Cancel

At PePiPoo our aim is for you to be entirely happy with your purchase every time you shop with us. If for any reason you are dissatisfied, please contact us using this form and we will do our best to resolve the problem quickly. Occasionally though, we know that you may want to return items.

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of these items within 7 days of delivery. This applies to all of our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of video, CD or software products where the item has been unsealed.

To cancel a contract, please contact us using this form, giving the reason for the return as "Contract cancellation", and including the e-mail address you used to place the order so that we can identify it. We will e-mail you with details of how to return the item. Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us so that we receive it within 7 working days of the date when we provided return details to you.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. You should be aware that, once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, postage and packing).

As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.

For flexibility and security we accept payments made through either Nochex or PayPal for all of our chargeable products and services.
